Deborah Keenan and Dobby Gibson will read from their work, showing different faces of poetry, one (which one?) demonstrating restraint and skepticism, the other trust and generosity. Or is the distinction not all that clear?

Storied poetry teacher Deborah Keenan of St. Paul has worked with writers for many years in many settings. She is the author of ten collections of poems, the most recent being “The Saint of Everything.”

Dobby Gibson, also of St. Paul, has published poems in many journals and has five collections to his name. He recently won the prestigious Four Quartets Prize for his poem “Hold Everything.”
